Brown Paper & Tinsel Bows

I’ve always found a particular beauty in a wrapped gift. To me, it doesn’t matter what kind of materials are used, or how much money was invested in them – but rather, the overall aesthetics and how they’ve been crafted.

This year, I chose to use the ‘ever-classic’ brown paper, taken from my studio, wrapped with dollar store hemp twine, topped with some homemade bows and sharpied-in names.

Sometimes, simplicity is right around the corner (at your nearest dollar store!).

{note : my point & shoot camera was used to take these photos – the macro function doesn’t do these gifts the justice I hope they deserve! }
